Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Brick Mason to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring brickwork structures with precision and craftsmanship. Duties

Lay bricks, blocks, and stones according to detailed plans and specifications using hand tools and power tools Construct new brick structures and restore existing masonry features with attention to detail Mix mortar and prepare materials required for bricklaying tasks Ensure the correct alignment, levelness, and plumbness of structures during construction Cut bricks or stones accurately using specialised tools such as chisels or saws Assist with other related tasks including carpentry, roofing, or welding as needed on site Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency Follow all health and safety regulations diligently throughout each project

Qualifications

Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or related trades is highly desirable Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively Basic knowledge of carpentry, roofing, or welding is advantageous but not essential Strong attention to detail with a focus on craftsmanship and quality standards Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights if necessary Excellent organisational skills with the ability to follow technical drawings and instructions Relevant certifications or apprenticeships in masonry or construction trades are preferred

Pay: 12.21-39.10 per hour
