Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our skilled site labour team and are seeking to find an highly experienced and driven bricklayer, working as part of a larger bricklaying team.

Work Location: Gusto Construction Ltd Sites - Various locations around the Newark area.

We are looking for an individual who is a time served apprentice in bricklaying or a skilled bricklayer who has extensive experience. A valid CSCS card and a driving licence is a must.

Skills required for this role:

A minimum of 5 years experience in bricklaying Able to read and interpret technical drawings Comfortable working at height Good numeracy and literacy skills Outstanding knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in bricklaying and the construction of buildings. Problem-solving ability. An ability to manage workloads without close supervision A strong knowledge and understanding of site Health & Safety Previous experience of mentoring/ training is desirable, but a willingness to share knowledge is a must

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake the bricklaying tasks allocated, completing all tasks to a high standard. Maintain the cleanliness of working locations, and security of tools and machinery Read and understand drawings to meet build requirements Administration of Rinodeck System - safe working platform

The role will be site based at various location within the region.

Hours are between 7.30am and 4.30pm depending on site requirements - 40 hours per week.

Must hold a valid CSCS Due to the physical nature of this work a good degree of physical fitness is required

Package Details:

Rate of Pay is 17.50ph, paid weekly. You will be contracted to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 25 days annual leave per year plus bank holidays. This increases by 1 day after 2 full years completed service, then another day after 4 years and another day after 6 years service - up to a maximum of 28 days plus bank holidays. Days are deducted annually from leave for a full business closure at Christmas. Pension contribution is 4% employee and 3% employer. Death in Service benefit.
