Overview


We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and bricklaying, with experience in using both hand and power tools. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using bricks, blocks, and other materials on a large high end house refurbishment.

Duties



Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units according to specifications. Construct walls, arches, and other structures using various masonry techniques. Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit. Use hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels to shape and finish masonry work. Operate power tools safely for cutting and shaping materials. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and welders, to complete projects efficiently. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with building codes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.

Qualifications



Proven experience in masonry or bricklaying is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to masonry work. Knowledge of construction methods related to roofs and other structural elements is advantageous. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks for extended periods. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 220.00-230.00 per day
