Job Overview

We are seeking skilled/time served Bricklayers and Labourers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in masonry and bricklaying, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on domestic, commercial and industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry materials in accordance with specifications and blueprints. Construct walls, arches, and other structures using hand tools and power tools. Ensure the accuracy of measurements and alignments during construction. Mix mortar and other materials as required for various projects. Perform repairs on existing masonry structures as needed. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and roofers to ensure project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bricklaying and masonry work is essential. Proficiency in using own hand tools and power tools related to masonry tasks. Knowledge of carpentry and roofing techniques is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks for extended periods. Pay: 14.00-25.70 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
