Job Description

We are looking for a bridal consultant/prom consultant to work across our 2 stores, due to this you must have your own transport and drivers licence as you may have to commute between the two shops during the day (fuel expenses covered) The stores are based in Sandiacre & Pride park, Derby

The role will be 5 days per week with exact working hours to be discussed at interview stage but will require 4 weekend shifts per month minimum over a mixture of Saturdays and Sundays, you are able to work a full weekend once a month to have a full weekend off

Please note the store does open from 9.30am-8pm certain nights so please only apply if you are available to work at least some evenings.

Job Role:

- Assist brides in finding their dream wedding dress and accessories

- Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience for brides and their entourage

- Offer expert advice on fit, style, and alterations

- Coordinate and schedule bridal and prom appointments

- Various Administrative duties will need to be performed so you must have experience with spreadsheets and other basic computer software.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bridal shop

- Stay up-to-date on current bridal trends and designers

-Create content for all our social media platforms

Requirements:

- Previous experience in retail / customer service or sewing industry is essential

- Ability to sell and upsell bridal gowns and accessories

- Excellent time management skills to ensure appointments are kept on schedule

- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling transactions

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors
