The Role

We're looking for a Bridging Mortgage Underwriter to join our growing team. You'll report to our Senior Underwriter, working closely with our Business Development Managers to assess and progress bridging enquiries from first review through to credit decision.

You'll be the first point of contact for clients and intermediaries, ensuring cases are managed efficiently and communication is clear throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound bridging enquiries from clients and intermediaries. Gather and package case information ready for full underwriting. Liaise confidently with stakeholders. Maintain ongoing intermediary relationships, encouraging repeat referrals. Update CRM/database accurately and keep records fully compliant. Ensure pipeline cases are tracked closely and progressed smoothly.
What We're Looking For

Essential:

Experience in a mortgage / financial services environment. Confident, friendly telephone manner. Strong written communication (email drafting). Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Desirable:

Bridging or specialist lending exposure. Experience dealing with brokers/intermediaries. CRM or case management system familiarity.
