Women's Super League Football are looking for a Broadcast Operations Manager to join their team on a new and exciting chapter for women's football. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Broadcast Manager on delivery of all broadcast operations and associated broadcast & commercial matters to help deliver a world class broadcast output for professional women's football in England. You will manage broadcast operations for the Barclays Women's Super League (BWSL), Barclays Women's Super League 2 (BWSL2) and Subway League Cup (SLC), and work with various broadcast partners at a time of transformational growth for the Women's Professional Game in England.
What will you be doing?

• Organise, attend and deliver BWSL & BWSL2 pre-season & mid-season content capture days with each club, ensuring smooth delivery of planning and execution for all broadcast related content needs.
• Effectively manage the league's relationships with key domestic broadcast partners, supporting on the optimum delivery of their broadcast contracts, fulfilling various requests from them and to be a general point of contact for all broadcast related matters.
• Where required, work with international media rights agency to assist with the management and delivery of international broadcast partner contracts.
• Working with international media rights agency, be the league's point person for "where to watch" information, gathering broadcast schedules and liaising internally with the marketing team to ensure information is populated on the website and app in time for each match round.
• Take ownership of the broadcast match manager programme, which will include recruiting BMMs, managing their rosters, booking BMMs for each match round and processing their payments. Through this programme you will be responsible for maintaining standards across the team, ensuring all deadlines are met for match reports and finding solutions for any issues that may arise.
• Create & manage fixture calendars, key documents and shared folders with match managers and broadcast partners.
• Manage all club live streaming requests across the BWSL, BWSL2 & SLC.
• Assist the Senior Broadcast Operations Manager with delivery of all live fixture operations for BWSL, BWSL2 & SLC on our YouTube Channels, ensuring broadcast specifications are met across the production delivery. Lead on weekly calls with the league's production partner, reporting elements to the Head of Media Rights, as required.
• Attend league fixtures over match rounds from time to time, ensuring delivery of broadcast output, and to be on call over weekends on a rotating basis to support each match round as part of the escalation process, where required.
• Attend club site visits from time to time, to oversee camera positions, compound layouts, gantry layouts and all broadcast requirements, supporting the Senior Broadcast Operations Manager (SBOM) as required.
• Manage end to end broadcast delivery of the Subway League Cup Final including but not limited to; accreditation arrangements, camera plans, interviews, rigging for the broadcast partner, trophy lift process, working closely with the events team.
• Liaising with the Clubs, manage broadcaster ticket requests for fixtures, ensuring smooth delivery of their contracted ticket amounts.
• Understand broadcast regulations, supporting the SBOM to ensure they are followed across the leagues.
• To support the SBOM with key industry and consumer trends that will influence the sector in the future, across technology, platform, production and distribution.
• Ensure broadcast paperwork is completed as required and renewals of documentation across broadcast operations is up to date and distributed to key stake holders.
• Raising purchase orders and tracking spend across the department, reporting on spend as required in line with budgets.
• Build and maintain relationships with all league partners across various broadcasters, agencies and stakeholders.
• Attend the London based office on a minimum of 2 days per week.
• Attend internal & external meetings as required.
• Work collaboratively with all internal departments, ensuring all matters involving the broadcast team are represented.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.
• Any other duties as might reasonably be requested within the scope of the role.

What are we looking for?
Essential skills:

• Proven experience of live television operations in sports industry.
• Background in television production, broadcast operations or live events delivery.
• Thorough understanding of the broadcast industry including media rights, scheduling, broadcast production and operational delivery.
• Flexible approach to working - weekend work and unsociable hours will be required.
• Understanding of all technical aspects of an outside broadcast operation
• Strong communication skills across various levels of seniority, internally and externally.
• Self-starter, able to set deadlines, goals and effectively manage your own workload.
• Digital native.
• Strategic thinker, able to consider wider and long-term company objectives in daily tasks.
• A team focused, collaborative approach to working.
• A desire to learn and continually develop.

Beneficial to have:

• Relevant qualifications/degree
• Interest and knowledge of women's football and sport in general
• Experience working in a fast passed, startup/commercial environment
• A sound understanding of numbers relating to broadcast finances
• Experience working with broadcasters, production agencies and rights holders.
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications, including excel and PPT
• Confident with strong presentation skills
