Integra Insurance Solutions Ltd are an MGA based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, offering homeowner insurance products, specialist insurance schemes cover, as well as church and commercial insurance.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Home Department as a Broker Development Specialist

.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the required competencies to fulfil the role requirements.

Main Role



Support the CUO-Home in developing new partners through market analysis, initial discussions, and onboarding projects. Build and maintain relationships with key and emerging brokers, processing agency enquiries in line with internal standards and authority limits. Represent the department at industry conferences, targeting new broker and partner opportunities to drive Integra account growth. Provide market knowledge, product expertise, and performance insights during external broker meetings and internally. Collaborate with the Transformation team to develop product specifications for launching or amending accounts. Act as a key communicator with brokers, IT, Compliance, and the underwriting team to support broker account development. Adhere to the company's technical underwriting philosophies and deliver effective, economical, and compliant underwriting services in line with Consumer Duty and regulatory requirements. Assist with operational or technical tasks within the Home department as directed by the CUO-Home. Follow all departmental service standards, processes, and procedures.

Core Competencies



Essential

Extensive experience in home underwriting with a Managing General Agency Strategic thinking and market insight. Excellent communication skills, approachable with a positive and proactive approach to work. Customer and partner focus with a proven experience of relationship management. Ability to undertake portfolio analysis, propose and influence change. Demonstrate ownership in driving and implementing change, resolving issues promptly and efficiently. GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics, Grade 4 or C, and above.
Desirable

ACII qualified or equivalent. Willing to study towards gaining professional qualifications. Flexibility. Previous experience in a relationship management role

Principle Responsibilities



Produce monthly partner KPI dashboards measuring partner profitability utilising key KPIs such as GWP and loss ratio. Collaborate with key accounts to effectively manage the Integra home portfolio, ensuring issues are efficiently resolved and financial targets are consistently achieved. Represent the company at industry conferences and seminars, actively cultivating a pipeline of new broker opportunities that align with departmental strateg. Proactively track and manage the pipeline of new partner opportunities, ensuring a steady flow of new business is onboarded, consistent with the company strategy. Serve as the primary contact between underwriting and brokers, ensuring clear communication and prompt issue resolution. Contribute underwriting expertise and broker relationship insights to projects, ensuring effective communication between partners and internal teams. Support the CUO - Home with additional tasks required to hit departmental objectives

Pay: 37,000.00-43,000.00 per year
