Aon are currently recruiting a Broker to join our Terrorism team based in London. The role is for a contributor (Aon career stage) with sound technical knowledge and ability.
Efficient delivery of all market (and network) facing activity within scope of responsibility.

What the day will look like

File maintenance - ECM Present terms to client / network Review / Create / Enhance Submission Review draft / final MRC Utilising PPL Lead and Follow market broking Record broking activity in market sheets Complete quote/firm order information in Brokasure including finalise MRC Provide invoicing instructions and respond to bureau queries Client relationship management (direct clients and/or network) Attend client meetings and provide technical wording advice to client/network Providing benchmarking and placement advice to clients Establish and manage pipeline Produce and/or deliver tenders and BID documentation if required Market relationship management Define marketing strategy (specific to placement) Provide technical training / guidance to colleagues

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Ability to interpret and use data effectively Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes. Sound technical insurance knowledge. Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service. Good problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal skills. Good level of numeracy. Effective communication and presentation skills. Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation. Ability to work well as part of a team. Demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
