The Role:



As a

Mortgage Administrator

, you'll be responsible for managing the administrative backbone of the mortgage application process. You'll ensure documentation is accurate, communication is clear, and deadlines are met -- all while delivering the professional, friendly service our clients rely on.

Key Responsibilities:



Application & Document Management



Prepare, review, and submit mortgage applications with 100% accuracy Ensure all required client documentation is collected, complete, and compliant Track progress of each case through to offer, proactively liaising with lenders, brokers, and clients to ensure smooth progression

Client Communication & Service



Be a trusted point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and supported throughout the process Respond to queries clearly and promptly, providing reassurance and clarity at every step Uphold our award-winning service levels -- always professional, always human

CRM & Admin Support



Maintain precise and up-to-date records in our CRM system Assist brokers and managers with admin tasks, client reports, and internal documentation Support wider operational efficiency through process consistency and attention to detail

Compliance & Risk Awareness



Ensure all activity complies with FCA regulations and internal procedures Stay informed on changes in lender criteria, mortgage regulation, and company policies Flag any concerns, missing documents, or delays to the Mortgage Manager quickly

Team Collaboration



Work closely with our mortgage advisers, case handlers, and operational teams Contribute ideas and feedback to help us improve systems, tools, and turnaround times Be part of a supportive culture that values teamwork and doing the right thing for the client

What You'll Need:



Previous experience in a mortgage admin or financial services support role (preferred) Strong organisational skills and a laser-sharp eye for detail Excellent written and verbal communication A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing workflows Confidence working with CRM systems and handling confidential client data A calm, professional, and customer-first mindset
