Bubbleologist

Are you enthusiastic, energetic, organised, and full of life? We are looking for someone like you to join our team at Bubbleology. We need flexible people willing to work up to 30 hours a week (including evenings and weekends). Bubbleology is an exciting new bubble tea concept that has come to Kingston. We are currently seeking vibrant, friendly professionals to join our team. You will be working mainly in the front of house preparing drinks, taking orders, and serving our customers.

Bubbleology is a creative, quirky, and fun new beverage concept that sells the best bubble tea in the UK. So far there are over 70 cafes around the world and Bubbleology and has been a successful year at Kingston upon Thames. If you have experience in a busy bar/cafe/restaurant, can work under pressure, and think you would make a great asset to our team, then give us a shout.

Job Role

Key focuses for the role are excellent bubble tea quality and amazing service, drink counter operation, cleanliness, maintenance, and team training. The impact of a great bubbleologist will allow a cafe to grow bubble tea drink sales. The bubbleologist is an integral part of the cafe team and will be expected to carry out other duties as appropriate to the business need.

Key Responsibilities

To create delicious bubble teas according to Bubbleology standards in an efficient and safe environment.o To always follow the order of making teas as per cafe training manual and reference table provided.o To ensure stock is rotated and used according to standards.o To work together to ensure the cafe and kitchen is the best it can be.o To serve customers efficiently, politely and quickly in an engaging manner.o To be able to communicate with confidence about bubble tea.o To maintain bubble tea quality through tasting.o To maintain the drink equipment and machinery to Bubbleology standards.o To view the drink counter / bar from customers' eyes and clean as you go.o To adhere to all aspects of "health and safety" and "food safety" in accordance with the law and Bubbleology standards.o To ensure sufficient stock of bubble tea ingredients, packaging, and utensils.
Basic Qualifications

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.o Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.o Meet cafe operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and exceptional customer service, cash handling and cafe safety and security.o Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.o Prepare beverages to standard recipeso Ability to perform many different tasks within the cafe during each shift
