Duties and Key Responsibilities (Day to day requirements and Smart Objectives)
Encourage and create a teamwork culture throughout the project team.
Plan and deliver the client programmes across design and build (for this document 'build' will relate to all post design delivery) ensuring procedure is followed and KPI's are met.
Ensure that the team delivers the build programme within guidelines, standards, and client specifications.
Performance manages the build teams.
Report daily and accurately on the delivery programmes, ensuring Atlas and OMNIX is up to date with the latest information.
Adhere to all process maps in ensuring the work is delivered on time and to budget.
Escalate any commercial issues on the build where a potential loss of profit is expected.
Manage the client account and build relationships within the client's team.
Pursue new business within the client team and work on tender documentation when required or requested by the senior management team.
Design
Ensure we are aligned from design and build in ensuring we meet the monthly lock downs and the correct data in Atlas and the client's tools is forecast accurately.
Escalate any known Design programme issues to the design programme manager and the Programme Director.
Build
Manage all build, install delivery reports, and ensure the programmes are delivered to the forecast and agreed programme.
Manage the client's expectations and report regularly to the client on the programme progress.
Interfacing all Matrix line managers to ensure the resource requirements and delivery is acceptable for the client's programmes.
Take ownership of the site and deliver the required solution within the excepted time frame.
Set up and report regularly on planned and actual deliverables across the build programmes.
Ensure all the correct documentation is issued to the teams and subcontractors working on site.
Ensure the programme is delivered to a high Quality and standards.
Ensure all tasks and milestones are met in line with the build process.
Interface with the Build QS to ensure all costs and CR are captured in a timely manner.
Ensure all jobs have a budget and the BM is working to that budget.
Commercial
Ensure the QS's produce budgets for each job.
Escalate and resolve any loss-making jobs in the programme.
Set up and reporting regularly on planned and actual deliverables across the delivery programmes.
Training and Development
Motivate, plan, co-ordinate, maintain and develop staff to undertake current and prospective workloads.
Participate and actively encourage both Company training courses and on the job training.
Monitor and record individual performances on an ongoing basis together with annual appraisals.

Significant Experience in Telecommunications Construction
Comprehensive Understanding of WHP Health & Safety Policy
Ability to manage subcontractor relationships
