In this role, you will take on a pivotal position working on site amongst peers, supervisors and customers. As a key member of the team you will be driving quality excellence, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring that our customers receive a first-class service and drive revenue.
As an experienced Mechanical fitter, you will be supporting the build is completed according to requirements, design and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings and P&I (P&ID) diagrams to construct industrial HVAC systems including but not limited to:
Construction of superstructure
Installation of all specified equipment and components
Route and connect pipes
Run electric conduit for wiring
Install cladding and roof panels, including fabricating holes for vents and pipes
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team and business objectives.
Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients.
Promote Teamwork: Foster teamwork and maintain collaboration with other company departments.
Reporting to the Supervisor with any issues or roadblocks
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
Educational and Professional Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent in Mechanical qualification
Knowledge of HVAC
Previous proven experience in a similar position
Assemble and test self-contained mechanical rooms to specification while following all safety and company guidelines.
Must be able to read and interpret design schematics, assembly, and mechanical drawings.
Must have strong mechanical skills and experience with basic hand tools and light power tools.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Able to do basic computer tasks.
