Description





We are looking for a

Build Process Engineer

to help drive consistency, efficiency, and excellence within our Build & Car Assembly Group. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to our performance on the track, working alongside world-class teams in a fast-paced and high-performance engineering environment. In this role you will collaborate across technical and production departments to drive continuous improvement and deliver best-in-class build processes.

Key Responsibilities





Develop and maintain Intelligent Tooling Programmes (ITPs) aligned with engineering drawings, SOPs, and WIs. Create and manage build and sign-off check sheets for assemblies. Work closely with Production Planning to streamline shop order routings and support real-time production needs. Capture best practices from the workshop floor and turn them into actionable, standardised procedures. Support fault investigations with Reliability and implement containment measures. Champion ISO 9001 compliance and 6S principles across the group. Collaborate with Design Engineers to clarify build and tooling requirements. Contribute to Health & Safety through risk assessments, COSHH management and PPE standards. Support implementation of new processes to ensure alignment across teams.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise





F1 experience in a similar role is essential. Proficiency with ERP systems (IFS, SAP or similar). Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 6S, and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to interpret complex CAD drawings and technical documentation. Confident communicator with a hands-on approach and a proactive mindset. Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure. Strong team player with a flexible, collaborative attitude. Committed to Health & Safety best practices.
