Build Team Member 25-27.5 DoE
Pixel Inspiration are an award-winning digital media solutions agency working with leading retail and commercial brands across the UK, Ireland and Europe, including Argos, L'Oreal, Tesco and Boots.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our Build Team with a hands-on, detail-focused Build Team Member to support the configuration, testing and preparation of digital signage hardware.
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role based in Altrincham (WA14) and is ideal for both entry-level candidates and those with existing hands-on experience looking to build or develop a career in IT, AV or digital technology within a fast-growing agency environment.
The Role
The position will involve configuring and preparing digital signage hardware in line with approved workflows and processes. You will work both independently and collaboratively with wider teams to ensure equipment is configured, tested, documented and shipped to a high standard.
This is a practical, hands-on role in a warehouse / build-room environment. You will be working with physical equipment daily, including handling screens and hardware. The role is physically active and will involve manual handling and occasional heavier lifting (in line with safe working practices and training provided).
You will be responsible for owning and maintaining tickets assigned to yourself and the Build Team through our internal ticketing systems, supporting stock control and allocation via internal ERP systems, and keeping the hardware asset register up to date at the point of configuration.
The role also includes hardware testing and troubleshooting, producing cabling schematic diagrams in line with current AV standards, and preparing equipment for shipment.
You will receive full training on our specific hardware, configurations, processes and systems, including exposure to our content management platforms.
You will also be expected to maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times.
About You
We are looking for someone who thrives in a team-based environment, but can also work independently with a methodical and organised approach.
You should have a genuine interest in technology and hardware, be attentive to detail, and take pride in delivering work to a high standard. A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and strong organisational skills are essential.
You'll be comfortable in a hands-on environment where moving, lifting and preparing equipment is part of day-to-day work.
This role would suit someone starting their career in IT, AV or digital technology, or someone with existing hands-on experience looking to develop further.
