Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Builder to carry out minor maintenance work on one of our site. The successful candidate will be responsible for carry out maintenance, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a diverse range of construction skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to the realisation of residential, commercial, and industrial structures.

Duties

Assist with carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work Perform roofing installation and repairs to ensure structural integrity and weatherproofing Carry out construction painting to prepare surfaces for finishing Support plumbing installations and repairs as required on-site Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing Operate welding equipment for metal fabrication and structural support tasks Contribute to electrical installations under supervision, adhering to safety standards Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for various building activities Assist with fabrication tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring health and safety compliance at all times

Requirements

Proven experience or training in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or related trades is desirable Knowledge of construction painting, plumbing, welding, electrical work, and fabrication is advantageous Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for daily tasks Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are preferred but not mandatory
