We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our construction team. Duties

Construct, repair, and maintain structures using a variety of materials and techniques. Perform carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, and finishing work. Undertake roofing installations, repairs, and inspections to ensure durability and safety. Carry out construction painting to prepare surfaces and achieve desired finishes. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with safety standards. Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing. Operate welding equipment for metal fabrication and structural repairs. Handle electrical wiring and components where required, adhering to electrical codes. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for various construction activities. Fabricate custom components or structures as needed for specific projects. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, or general construction work is preferred. Knowledge of plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical systems, or fabrication is advantageous. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the construction industry is essential. Previous experience working on diverse building projects will be considered an asset. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications is desirable but not mandatory. A recognised qualification in a relevant trade (e.g., City & Guilds) will be beneficial but not essential.
