We are looking for an experienced and hardworking

Builder

to join our construction team.
The ideal candidate will be confident in a variety of building tasks, capable of interpreting technical plans, and dedicated to delivering a high-quality finish on every project.
You will work across multiple sites in and around Nottingham, supporting new builds, refurbishments, and extensions.

Responsibilities

Perform general building and structural work, including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete tasks. Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and site specifications accurately. Prepare and mix materials, load and unload supplies, and maintain site organisation. Install walls, partitions, floors, and foundations according to safety and quality standards. Assist with groundwork, roofing, and finishing activities when required. Collaborate effectively with other trades such as plumbers, electricians, and site supervisors. Identify and report any site or safety concerns to management promptly. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly used, cleaned, and stored. Work to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship and professionalism on site.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and material costs. . Good understanding of

construction methods

, materials, and site safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients efficiently. Must be physically fit to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking on job sites. Previous experience in the restoration industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
