We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional projects and are looking for an experienced Builder/Bricklayer to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and bricklaying, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. As a Builder/Bricklayer, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role involves working mainly on residential projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units according to specifications and blueprints. Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools. Mix mortar and other bonding agents as required for various projects. Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times. Perform repairs on existing structures as needed, including roofs and walls.
Qualifications

Proven experience in masonry or bricklaying is essential (minimum of 5 years experience). Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong understanding of construction safety practices. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills. A valid driver's licence is required for travel between job sites.

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour
