Builders Apprentice
Job Description
Builders apprentice required to be part of small close knit residential building company.
Ideally be a school leaver looking to start an apprentiship.
Will be assisting in undertaking extensions, conversions and structural alterations from start to finish in South Manchester area
We cover all aspects of a build and you will gain experience in the following:
Excavations, foundations & drainage.
Bricklaying.
Steelwork.
Roof Carpentry.
Roofing.
Boarding & drylining.
Plastering.
1st & 2nd fix joinery.
Minor plumbing & electrical works.
Keeping work site clean, tidy and organised.
Must have good work ethic, enthusiasm, be willing to learn and show initiative.
Ideal candidate will have some work experience, not necessarily in construction.
Must be able to commute to and from site each day.
Hours of work are 8.5 hours each day between 8:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday, weekend work may be available.
National minimum wage.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: 7.55 per hour
