Category C (Class 2) Driver

looking for a new opportunity ? We are looking for a reliable individual to join our team in

Mold

. This is an established branch within the EWE Building Plastics network and is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to join an expanding business within a competitive environment.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated driver to handle our deliveries in a timely and efficient manner. You will be driving our 7.2t flatbed trucks or our Sprinters, undertaking deliveries to commercial and residential customers. We would also like to train you on the trade counter so that you are able to provide back-up for the branch when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure road-worthiness and compliance. Safe and efficient loading, unloading, and delivery of goods. Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork. Adhering to all relevant road transport and working time regulations (WTD). Providing excellent customer service during deliveries.

What We Offer

Competitive Salary:

28,571.40 per annum.

Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week.

Benefits:

29 days holiday (including bank holidays), Bonus Scheme and Ongoing CPC training provided.

What We Need From You

Essential Requirements:

Valid and clean

UK Category C (Class 2)

driving license. Up-to-date

Driver Qualification Card (DQC)

/CPC. Valid

Digital Tachograph Card

. Proven commercial driving experience (minimum 1 year preferred).

Desirable Skills:

Excellent time management and organisational skills. Strong communication and customer-facing abilities. A flexible and positive "can-do" attitude.

Must be available to work on alternate Saturday mornings (8 a.m.- midday). Normal working hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Salary of

28,571.40

does not include Saturday working. This would be paid as

overtime

(

18.32/hour).

Bonus scheme

would give potential for increased earning on top of the basic salary offered.
