35,000 per annum plus 20% KPI related bonus



One Port Street are a residential community situated in the iconic Northern Quarter of the city centre. The building boasts a range of apartment styles to suit all residents, views of the City Centre, alongside a beautifully designed communal co-working space, a residents' gym and pool, urban garden and resident events. One Port Street seeks an experienced, but above all passionate person as Building Manager to uphold its aspirations.

As Building Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the building. You will be at the forefront of developing and shaping how this brand is delivered across the 477 stunning apartments and communal spaces.

Job role



In our amazing environment at One Port Street, you will be responsible for managing the team who together deliver exceptional customer service to our residents in accordance with our operational policies and procedures, as well as delivering some property management services to some of the unit owners. You will also be key in the delivery of compliance across the buildings for all Health and Safety and other legislative requirements.

Role responsibilities



Take the lead of the building Recruit team members as necessary to deliver the customer services to the residents Undergo training and train the team in all aspects of customer service Overall operation and service delivery within the building General day to day enquiries ensuring the building operates efficiently through diligent management of systems, processes, procedures, contracts and supply chains. Implement and review operational policies and procedures with the Operations Manager. Help promote the company culture that encourages top performance and high morale. Oversee budgeting, reporting and planning. Ensure that the brand operation and H&S compliance is delivered to a high standard. Work closely with the Operations Manager to determine short and long-term goals. Implement and manage the Maintenance and Servicing regime and 3rd party contractors, ensuring that the site is undertaking planned maintenance as scheduled and that the contractors are appropriately managed to ensure compliance. Lead and champion customer feedback, ensuring all feedback is taken on board and considered. Work alongside the Brand and Marketing department ensuring that the brand is delivered consistently across all aspects of the services and throughout all marketing and resident activity and events.

Candidate requirements



A key understanding of the One Port Street business and operations model. Excellent planning and organisation skills. Experience in management, operations and leadership. An ability to build, grow and retain a world class team. An ability to build good relationships among managers and employees. Excellent communication skills. A solid understanding of financial management. Ability to develop, implement and review policies and procedures. Ability to oversee budgeting, reporting, planning and auditing. Understanding appropriate legal and regulatory documents. Ability to provide solutions to problems and develop opportunities for the company. Ability to influence key departments to benefit the operational platform. Ability to build alliances and partnerships with other organisations. Experience in opening of buildings, and swimming pools is desirable

Reporting:



This role will report directly to the Operations Manager.
