About the role:



Fantastic opportunity for a Workplace Manager to take ownership of a flagship, 100,000 sq. ft, fully occupied Grade A multi-let office in central Manchester.

You'll be the visible, go-to presence in the building - leading day-to-day operations, FM delivery, H&S and compliance, while creating a hospitality-led, best-in-class occupier experience. Supported by an on-site Customer Experience Manager and FM supply chain, you'll build strong relationships with blue-chip occupiers and ensure the building runs smoothly.

This is a fast-paced, high-profile site within a growing Northwest portfolio, offering clear scope for progression.

Job duties:



Building & Occupier Leadership

Be the primary on-site contact - visible, approachable and proactive with all occupiers. Build strong relationships with tenants, understanding their needs and resolving issues early. Drive a hospitality-led, customer-focused culture throughout the building.
Operations, FM & Compliance

Oversee all hard and soft FM services (M&E, fabric, cleaning, security, waste, etc.). Ensure full statutory and H&S compliance, with accurate risk and incident reporting. Carry out regular building inspections, follow up on actions and escalate issues where needed. Manage on-site contractors, monitoring performance, behaviours and SLA/KPI delivery.
Customer Experience & Community

Work with the Customer Experience Manager to deliver events, activations and engagement initiatives. Enhance tenant satisfaction and sense of community across the building. Support ESG, sustainability and wellbeing initiatives on site.
Service Delivery & Performance

Support service charge management, budgeting insight and financial reporting. Oversee CAFM usage, work orders and reactive maintenance performance. Handle complaints with a solutions-focused, calm and professional approach. Maintain and test business continuity and emergency procedures.

What we're looking for:



Experience as a Workplace Manager, Building Manager or Assistant Building Manager in a high-performing commercial office environment. Strong communication and people skills, comfortable with high levels of occupier interaction. Confident overseeing FM suppliers, H&S, compliance and building operations. Customer-obsessed, front-of-house mindset with a passion for great occupier experience. Proactive, organised, calm under pressure and strong problem-solver.

Nice to have:



IWFM Level 4 (or working towards). IOSH Managing Safely. Experience in Grade A or multi-tenanted corporate offices.
