Role Summary
The Collaborative Teaching Laboratory (CTL) represents a 42m investment in STEM teaching. The CTL provides primarily undergraduate students with a transformational teaching experience in a state-of-the-art facility to encourage and enable inter-disciplinary working.
The Building Services Coordinator will have day-to-day responsibility and oversight of the CTL 's buildings. The post-holder will liaise with the central University Estates Office and Campus Services, including Security, Hospitality and Accommodation Services, Portering and Cleaning Services, IT Services and other areas of the university as appropriate to assist in the completion of their duties. They will also be the central point of contact for all external contractors working within the building, and responsible for organising and managing maintenance and service contracts.
The CTL Building Services Coordinator will work in conjunction with the CTL 's Operations team and Head of Operations in providing skills, knowledge and expertise to ensure the CTL 's teaching is delivered effectively and efficiently.
