Job Overview :



We are seeking an experienced

Building Services Engineer (BSE)

to oversee the maintenance and operation of plant rooms and HVAC systems within prestigious high end buildings.

Key Responsibilities :



You'll be part of a high-performing team with access to relevant training and upskilling, responsible for:

Managing HVAC assets including BMS, FCUs, AHUs, VRF and VRV systems Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across building services Diagnosing and resolving system faults while maintaining clear client communications Handling small power, lighting, and minor mechanical/plumbing tasks Participating in the on-call rota for emergency and reactive works Completing documentation, RAMS, and working within permit-to-work systems Providing high-quality customer service and proactive building walk-throughs Supporting additional building duties (e.g. porterage, minor fabric repairs)

Qualifications & Skills :



Essential:



Familiarity with Health & Safety procedures and permit systems Manual handling capability, including working at heights Strong communication skills and digital proficiency Ability to work independently or collaboratively

Preferred:



C&G Level 3 Heating & Ventilation Mechanical Engineering credentials 17th or 18th Edition Electrical certification

Experience Profile :



You should bring hands-on experience in a facilities/maintenance/ high end corporate office environment and demonstrate competency with:

Scheduled maintenance tasks (e.g. fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, temperature readings) Reactive repairs and first-line fault response Meter readings, luminaire replacements, plumbing fixes Accurate work documentation using digital platforms

Terms



Hours of works Mon-Fri 7am - 5pm - 8 hours on site, 1 hour lunch 28 Days Annual holiday inc. Bank Holidays Mobile Phone will be provided Uniform PPE will be provided Work wear will be provided Van / fuel card- work use only Specialist tools will be provided Training
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-45,000.00 per year
