Job Description

We are currently seeking a Building Services Engineering & Maintenance Apprentice Engineer to join our team in London. This apprenticeship program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain practical experience and expand their knowledge in the field of Building Services engineering on a four-year program. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the apprentice will support various electrical, mechanical, plumbing & fabric engineering projects across our portfolio of commercial real estate properties whilst working towards becoming a qualified engineer.


The role will require 4 days per week in our offices and one day per week at Newham college. You will work towards the Level 3 Building Services Engineering & Maintenance Engineer Qualification.

What your day-to-day will look like:





Assist engineers with the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial buildings. Working safely Perform routine maintenance tasks, including routine inspections and testing of electrical & mechanical equipment. Diagnostic & fault-finding techniques Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and blueprints. Maintenance planning & activity Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Stay updated with the latest advancements in building engineering and recommend process improvements. Working sustainably

No matter your experience or role, both our Early Careers and Learning teams will provide you with lots of ways to improve and develop your skills, from financial accounting to managing stakeholders

20% off-the-job training -

As an apprentice, you will receive time to study with your training provider, typically one day each week. This time will involve online learning, joining webinars, and completing assignments

Dress for your day -

Each day will be different, so we trust you to dress according to what you're doing. For example, if you're meeting clients then it's important to dress smartly to reflect the great work we do, and we encourage you dress more casually when you don't.
