Main Duties

Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures. Monitor all helpdesk jobs issued and address/close within assigned timelines and SLAs. Act as key holder and unlock/lock buildings to provide access to relevant parties as required. Carry out all planned and ad hoc porterage in line with SLAs and requests. Act as first attendee to all helpdesk jobs and resolve or feedback requirements. Set-up rooms for the use of Examinations / school functions etc and return to usual lay out following the function. Carry out all PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) tasks as required and in line with statutory compliance, including weekly fire alarm and sprinkler tests and monthly emergency light flick tests. Cover out of hours usage of the building on a rota system. Ensure all Safeguarding Policies are always adhered to and raise any concerns in line with the Mitie policy. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. To undertake any other related duties which are within the job holder's capability, according to the needs of the business.

What we are looking for

PFI/Healthcare experience advantageous. NVQ entry level 2/3 building maintenance qualification, preferably in Carpentry with fire door installation experience or minimum experience of 3 years at management level. Highly motivated and driven by social responsibility to achieve the highest levels of delivery in a healthcare environment. Full UK driving licence. Proven operational delivery of a technical workforce (within a healthcare setting is advantageous). HTM qualifications / understanding preferrable. * Flexible, ensuring the account maintains a Building Fabric site presence 24/7/365 days
