Kirkley Centre Building Supervisor, Lowestoft


Hours: 25 hours per week (flexibility in the days to be worked is required to cover the centre's needs).


Post 2:

Brightspace Building Supervisor, Ipswich


Hours: 15 hours per week (Days will need to be spread over 3 days - 5 hours per day).

About the role



Are you a hands-on individual with a sharp eye for detail with a knack for keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for two

Building Supervisors

, one in Lowestoft and one in Ipswich who are ready to roll up their sleeves and oversee our building facilities day-to-day operations.


You will have a background in building or facilities management, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will also need to be confident in managing a small team and have excellent communication skills which can be tailored to a range of audiences. Therefore, if you're cool under pressure and solution-focused when plans change one of these roles could be the ideal role for you.


You will:



supervise the day-to-day maintenance and operations of either The Kirkley Centre or Brightspace building manage building staff to ensure the building operates and meets users' needs and coordinate contractors to carry out repairs and routine servicing keep our building safe, clean, and fully operational ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and building safety maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, incidents, and budget usage.
