We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying property defects, and providing accurate specification for remedial works, costing and seeing through to completion. Responsibilities
Identify building defects
through inspections and surveys, preparing detailed reports outlining issues, causes, and recommended remedial actions.
Prepare scopes of work
and
technical specifications
for repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
Provide accurate cost estimates
and assist in budgeting for proposed works.
Manage small works projects
from inception to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
Assist with day-to-day maintenance operations
, offering technical advice and support to colleagues and clients.
Work closely with the maintenance operatives and subcontractors
to ensure jobs are carried out efficiently and to specification.
Monitor and inspect works on site
, ensuring standards of workmanship, health & safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong client relationships
, providing professional and responsive service.
Contribute to team management
, supporting the coordination and supervision of operatives to ensure all works are completed to a high standard.
Prepare project documentation
, including progress reports, condition surveys, and handover files.
Assist in developing and improving maintenance processes
, helping to drive efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications
Experience conducting

Degree in
Building Surveying
