We are now looking to grow our Building Surveying team. Whether you're a seasoned surveyor, an ambitious professional looking for the next step or are working towards your Chartered status, this is an opportunity to join a trusted local brand with real long-term potential.
The Role:
As a key part of our surveying team, you'll provide a range of condition surveys on residential and commercial property including dilapidations and other building surveyor services to support our thriving residential and commercial agency departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct RICS Level 1,2 & 3 Home Surveys.
Prepare clear, well-written reports with accuracy and precision.
Use surveying software to efficiently produce and finalise reports on-site.
Deliver excellent customer service before, during, and after the survey process.
Organise and manage your own survey schedule efficiently.
Travel to various locations across the North East and North Yorkshire.
Liaise with clients and colleagues professionally and proactively.
What We're Looking For:
RICS-qualified surveyor (AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS). Candidates working towards their Chartered status will be considered.
Strong track record in residential and commercial surveys - portfolio evidence required.
Ability to use software to complete reports in real-time/on-site.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
IT proficiency, including Word and RICS reporting software.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Positive, business-minded attitude with a desire to grow with the firm.
Full UK driving licence (clean).
