What you'll be doing




As a key member of our

Surveying Services Team

, you'll:

Conduct a wide range of property surveys including condition, structural, disrepair, damp & mould, retrofit, and fire risk remedials. Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and tender documents. Collaborate with residents, local authorities, and contractors to deliver solutions with empathy and professionalism. Champion compliance with HHSRS, Decent Homes, CDM2015, and emerging legislation like Awaab's Law. Provide expert advice to internal teams and external partners to ensure safe, compliant, and sustainable homes Support investment planning, major voids, and improvement works that directly impact residents' quality of life.

What you'll bring



A

minimum HND in Building Construction

or a

degree in Building Surveying

with at least

5 years' experience

. Strong knowledge of building pathology, repairs, and planned maintenance. A methodical, problem-solving mindset and excellent time management. Confidence in preparing specifications, costings, and technical reports. A customer-first attitude and the ability to communicate across all levels. Physical fitness to carry out inspections in varied environments.

Desirable:



MRICS or MCIOB qualification Experience in social housing or with a registered provider Familiarity with Decent Homes, Awaab's Law, and CDM regulations
