Kelham Concept is an independent Chartered Building Surveying practice based in Sheffield. We are experiencing rapid growth and forming strong, long term client relationships across a broad range of sectors.

As part of the next phase of our growth, we are creating a role with a strong emphasis on client development alongside technical surveying delivery.

The Role



This is a growth focused opportunity suited to an ambitious individual who wants more than a purely technical role.

You will be involved in delivering professional building surveying services while also playing an active part in developing client relationships, contributing to repeat business, and helping grow the consultancy.

The role is flexible in level and could suit:

A MRICS qualified Surveyor seeking autonomy, responsibility, and a clear route to progression, or A Graduate Building Surveyor looking for strong APC support and early client exposure.

Key Responsibilities



Delivering building surveying and consultancy services Contract Administration and Employer's Agent duties Managing construction contracts and project work Preparing and negotiating commercial dilapidations claims (Landlord & Tenant) Supporting and leading client meetings and site inspections Developing existing client relationships and actively contributing to new instructions and repeat business Assisting with fee proposals and contributing to business growth

About You



Degree qualified in Building Surveying (or equivalent) MRICS qualified or working towards APC Full UK driving licence Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commercial awareness and confidence dealing with clients Proactive, forward thinking, and keen to play a part in growing a business Comfortable taking responsibility and ownership as the role develops

Training & Development



Full APC support and mentoring RICS subscriptions and memberships paid Ongoing professional development Opportunity to upskill into additional areas (e.g. NEBOSH, CMAPS, IFE) where aligned with the business
