Building Test Technician Role:
As a Building Test Technician, you will conduct critical compliance testing on buildings, ensuring they meet UK Building Regulations standards. This role requires a flexible and detail-oriented professional committed to delivering high-quality results.
Building Test Technician Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct airtightness tests, ventilation performance tests, and heat transfer coefficient testing in compliance with UK Building Regulations and client specifications.
• Provide advisory services, liaise with clients and site management, and present findings effectively.
• Identify and resolve faults, analyse results, and produce detailed reports following company and regulatory procedures.
• Perform routine checks on equipment and vehicles, ensuring functionality and reporting maintenance needs.
• Adhere to corporate and client standards, policies, and procedures.
• Undertake administrative duties within required timescales and other relevant tasks as needed.

What They Are Looking For:
Essential:

• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant test standards.
• A clean driving licence.
• Understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Desirable:

• CSCS card or equivalent.
• A university-level degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
