Responsibilities

Operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Demonstrate excellent customer service when interacting with clients or customers during deliveries.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) or equivalent is essential. Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the vehicle. Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including those equipped for digging or heavy lifting tasks. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
