Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bulldozer Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating bulldozers and related heavy machinery to assist in earthmoving, grading, and site preparation tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic construction environment. The ideal applicant will possess relevant experience and a valid CSCS, ensuring safe and effective operation of equipment on-site.

Responsibilities

Operate bulldozers to move earth, gravel, and other materials according to project specifications Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety Assist with site preparation, grading, and land clearing activities Collaborate with team members to complete tasks within designated timeframes Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs when necessary

Requirements

Proven experience operating bulldozers in a construction or civil engineering environment Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machinery problems Valid CSCS or equivalent recognised qualification Experience operating excavators is desirable but not essential Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to heavy machinery operation Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and safety protocols
