Aldwark Manor Estate is a privately owned Hotel with Golf nestled in a picturesque village between York and Harrogate. Set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside, this luxury Hotel provides a complete escape for both business and leisure guests and is a popular venue for weddings.



Over the last few years, the Hotel has undergone major renovations in the bedrooms, restaurant, residents lounge, sports bar and all public areas. This year we will starting our new and opulent spa and state-of-the-art leisure areas as well as our new meeting rooms and additional 24 bedrooms. The leisure facilities opening later this year with the new spa, bedrooms and meeting space opening 2026

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Team member who can join usand work in the Sports Bar who also has an intereest in Golf

Main duties and purpose of the role

:



As Bunkers FB assistant you are responsible for helping your department to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience- in accordance with the Aldwark Manor Estate Service Standards. The working times will be between 7am and Midnight working 5 days per week, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.



FB Assistants need food service and waiting skills, alongside excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate well with guests. FB Assistants also need excellent knowledge of food preparation and hygiene standards as well as the ability to work well as part of a team. A successful FB Assistant candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that typically include:


Experience of working in a Restaurant or Bar and/or Retail environment Ability to work in different areas of Food and Beverage including Breakfast, Bar, Restaurant, Conference and Events Excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service The ability to complete all tasks given in a timely and efficient manner Ensure compliance with brand standards Manage guest queries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner Carry out duties correctly to help assist Bunkers Manager with achieving financial targets Carry out cleaning duties as assigned to you with an awareness of Safety and Security policies and procedures, ensuring relevant records are completed daily Ensure wastage and breakages are recorded correctly and assist with ordering of stock as required Ensure the Golf Shop runs effectively in the absence of the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager Supervisor




Complete company training modules as required to ensure compliance with relevant Health Safety policies and procedures
