As we continue to develop and enhance our in house residential service, we currently looking for a part time worker for 18.5 hours per week in the Stafford area. As a Bursar, you will be working in the homes, supporting the Registered Manager in the day to day operation of the home.
Main Responsibilities
You will
have a knowledge of health and safety relating to the maintenance of a safe working and living environment, including completion and review of risk assessments.
proven experience of implementing office procedures and systems.
support the Registered Manager in all aspects of health and safety, finance and the day to day administration of the home.
having proven experience working in a supervisory role as you will be directly supervising support staff.
playing a key role in maintaining budgetary systems.
The Ideal Candidate
You will :
be an experienced and motivated person to work as a Bursar within a residential children's home for young people with emotional, behavioural difficulties.
have a NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration or equivalent (desirable)
This is an ideal opportunity for someone working within an administrative role who would like to progress further.
