Job Description

Burton Albion FC is seeking movitaved and dedicated CASUAL Academy Age Group Coaches to join our Academy team.

As an age-specific specialist, you will be responsible for coaching and developing players within a selected age group, ensuring the best possible environment for young footballers to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and review coaching sessions in line with the Academy's coaching curriculum. Lead and assist in both training and matchday coaching. Tailor coaching to individual player needs and ensure all planning is age-specific. Support the development of players within the Foundation or Youth Development Phase. Monitor player wellbeing and liaise with the Safeguarding Team and Head of Player Care. Maintain accurate records of training, fixtures, and player progress. Oversee trialists and provide feedback during the signing/exit process. Attend CPD events and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach within the Academy. Uphold the Club's philosophy, safeguarding, health & safety, and equality, diversity & inclusion standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

UEFA B Licence (essential) FA Advanced Youth Award (desirable) EFAiF (Emergency First Aid in Football) FA/FAW Safeguarding Children Workshop Certificate (or willingness to complete within 1 month) Experience working within a professional football academy and knowledge of the EPPP Excellent communication, organisational, and administrative skills Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in sport

Additional Information:

This role requires an Enhanced DBS Check. Flexibility to work across the UK and occasionally overseas is required.
