only from bolton area local driver or near bolton ,We are seeking a professional and reliable Coach Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a strong commitment to passenger safety. This role involves transporting passengers, ensuring a comfortable and secure journey for all travellers. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle's condition and adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Duties

Safely operate coaches, adhering to traffic laws. Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tyre pressure, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during shifts. Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and dispatchers using clear English. Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times. Respond appropriately to emergency situations or unforeseen circumstances during transit.

Requirements

Valid driver's licence with category D , CPC card and digital tachograph card a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving Mechanical knowledge relevant to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Strong driving skills with experience operating buses or similar large vehicles. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route planning. Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required. Previous experience in passenger transport or related roles is advantageous but not essential.
