East Yorkshire Buses are currently looking for bus drivers at all our depots to join our fantastic team.

Our drivers provide safe and reliable passenger journeys across the Yorkshire region, giving our valued customers the best quality travel experience through our friendly, knowledgeable and helpful team.

Do I need a bus driving licence to apply?

No! We offer a full and comprehensive training package for those who do not have a PCV licence already. Any training you require we can accommodate you.

Do I need to work full time?

No, most bus drivers do work full time,

but

we can offer a range of options, such as part time, evening, term-time, annualised and seasonal vacancies- ideal for students and parents/carers, or those just wanting a few extra hours on top of their current role.

When you apply, tell us what hours you'd prefer, and we can discuss the options with you at interview.

What are the pay and benefits like?

Whilst training you can earn 13.27 per hour, once you're fully trained, pay is 14.50 per hour. You can earn around 28,650 per year, plus overtime.

If you already have a PCV licence, you'll be paid 14.50 straight away!

Ability to commute/relocate:

We have roles through out our network with immediate start available for those with a current PCV licence and DQC (Subject to pre-employment medical)
