Qualified PCV Coach Drivers

- Birmingham (Smethwick)

We are looking for qualified Bus / Coach drivers to join our team at our Birmingham depot.

Following an increase in work, we are looking for experienced PCV drivers to join our team. Thandi coaches operate a wide range of services, including Local and International Tours, Intercity express services, school contract coach hire, Rail replacement services as well as bespoke hires for both private and corporate clients.

Guaranteed 40 hours per week (160hrs per month)

with overtime for those who want to increase their earnings

There are a few of things we need from you:

You need to have a PCV licence, with no more than 6 penalty points, and no disqualifications withing the last 10 years Driver qualification card and Digital Tachograph card You need to want to deliver great customer service You need to have a patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
You should also be aware that due to the nature of some of the work we undertake, all drivers are required to have a DBS (Basic Disclosure and Barring Service) check carried out. We also require all new employees to complete a drugs and alcohol test prior to starting and undertake a 'random' testing program for all colleagues.

Responsibilities

Safely operate and drive the bus or coach, ensuring passenger comfort and adherence to traffic regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to assess vehicle condition. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information and assistance during their journey. Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, journey details, and fuel use. Ensure the safety of all passengers at all times.
