Permanent role based in The City of London working as Business Account Manager for a leading global bank within the Financial Services Sector.
Salary is 50-60k
Hybrid working - 4 days in the office 1 WFH
Business Account Manager

• To originate property debt finance transactions
• Identifying new business opportunities
• Assist in the operational management of real estate transactions originated at the branch for terms closing with clients and credit approval and disbursement.
• To review and analyse property operating performance;
• To appraise the asset management and business plans of properties to be financed;
• To evaluate property specific risk
• To assess the net income position and the implications on cash flow, value and exit position;
• To build, interpret and manipulate financial models to evaluate the security of financing arrangements;
• To be responsible for the valuation due diligence during the transaction execution process;
• To write credit applications under tight deadlines and lead the credit process;
• To address any queries or requests raised by the credit risk department, the credit committee, and the business line;
• To prepare deal proposals and term sheets;
• To ensure KYC and compliance requirements of Real Estate Finance are adhered to as per the bank's policy
• To assist asset management with already invested Real Estate Finance
• Facilities as required.
• To assist the Branch Head in matters with adhoc projects as they might arise within the context of the Real Estate Finance team
• Any additional assignments from line manager / updates in the office order in relevance to the job role.
• Financial targets: Exceed return expectations and targeted growth in the loan book and new business proposed for the business at the branch

To be successful in this Business Account Manager role you must have prior experience in:

• Property debt finance transactions; structuring, negotiating and securing debt finance
• Must be able to assess borrower needs, assess relevant risks, consider terms and work collaboratively for approvals
• Have experience reading, drafting and reconciling documents, term sheets, agreements etc
• Must have advanced Excel skills, modelling
• Must have prior experience reading and analysing a Balance-sheet in order for sound assessment, structuring and risk purposes.
