Salary:

14,400 - 24,000 per annum (depending on contracted hours)

We are now looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented

Business Administrator

to support the operational and administrative needs of our growing organisation. This is a hybrid role combining home-based working with regular in-office days at our head office in Huddersfield.

Job Summary



As a Business Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our internal systems, communications, and service delivery. You'll be responsible for supporting invoicing, scheduling, compliance, and general administration across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities



Act as a key point of contact for schools, venues, and staff to support logistics and communication. Contribute to internal systems for safeguarding, HR documentation, and staff compliance. Support invoicing, payment tracking, and financial coordination with the leadership team. Maintain accurate registers, logs, and internal records (attendance, feedback, incident reports). Coordinate staff schedules, bookings, and calendar updates across all services. Prepare internal reports, data summaries, and compliance documentation as needed. Organise digital and physical resources to ensure programme readiness. Respond to emails and general enquiries in a professional and timely manner. Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times.

Experience and Skills



Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role (preferred). Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Confident using digital tools and systems - especially Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides). Familiarity with Xero (or other accounting software) is a plus. Experience in education is desirable but not essential.
