Business Administrator Apprentice to join our growing team. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience alongside a recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification, providing a strong foundation for a rewarding career in the sector.

As a Business Administrator Apprentice at S&P Care, you will develop essential business and administrative skills while supporting our care services. You will learn the fundamentals of working within a private domiciliary care company setting, gaining experience in several key business functions:

HR & Recruitment Compliance & Quality Assurance Finance & Invoicing Customer & Client Services Operations & Scheduling
Your apprenticeship will typically last 18-24 months, during which you will gain experience across departments, supporting projects that contribute to the growth and efficiency of S&P Care.

You will learn and put into practice essential business and administration skills required for a junior role within a healthcare organisation.

As part of your development, you will be enrolled onto a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration or Project Management via Ginger Nut Training (a high quality apprenticeship provider), enabling you to gain a formal qualification while working.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting recruitment processes (applications, interview coordination, onboarding documentation) Maintaining staff and client records in line with data protection regulations Assisting with scheduling shifts and updating rotas Supporting compliance and audit preparation Assisting with financial tasks such as invoicing and filing Handling enquiries from staff, clients and families Supporting marketing and social media updates Participating in internal projects to improve systems and processes Attending regular one-to-one meetings and progress reviews
Where applicable, you may also gain exposure to additional areas of the business for a full understanding of how S&P Care operates.

Essential:

GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 minimum) An interest in business, healthcare, administration or social care Strong desire to learn and develop professionally Willingness to adapt and take on new challenges Basic IT knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook - training will be provided) Ability to work well within a team and independently Good communication and organisational skills

They will be an organised, punctual, and detail-focused team player who takes ownership and pride in their work, handles sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality, understands the importance of maintaining high standards within healthcare, and is open to feedback, development, and continuous improvement, while acting with compassion and integrity at all times.
