We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Administrator Apprentice to complete their level 3 with us, leading to a permanent role.
You will gain practical hands on experience in all aspects of the business and be a valued member of our hardworking team in this fast paced start up granola business.
Duties
Process online sales and prepare for dispatch in a timely manner
Able to set up excel spreadsheets and graphs t
Maintain weekly packaging counts and audits and record this onto an excel spreadsheets to ensure we do not run out
Prepare product packaging prior to orders being dispatched.
Prepare and dispatch all wholesale orders in a timely manner and record all data onto excel spreadsheet
Learn how to update the Forthay Granola website and maintain online records as required.
Learn how to use Klaviyo, our customer relation management system,
Carry out all administrative duties and proof reading regarding launching new products, setting up processes and procedures
Prepare and send out sample boxes for potential new stockists, maintaining spreadsheets of all of their key information
Follow established company procedures for administering all aspects of administration including Royal Mail post and packaging maintaining records.
Support teams members by assisting with all of the packing and preparation prior to the distribution of all deliveries
Communicate to suppliers, stockists and customers on the phone and via email, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Engage in problem solving and initiate process improvements to save time, reduce costs and improve the customer experience.
Assist with daily administrative tasks, including data entry and creating new documents on Word, Canva and Klaviyo.
Support the owner with scheduling appointments and diary management and managing calendars
Handle incoming and outgoing calls in a confident and professional telephone manner, to leave a positive impression of the customer.
Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office programmes
Prepare reports and correspondence as required, ensuring clarity and accuracy
Demonstrate attention to detail in all invoicing, billing, and written communication activities
Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-organised at all times
Experience
Confident in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
Confident in using social media and creating instagram posts, stories and reels
Good organisational skills and able to juggle tasks as required
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and follow schedules
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in carrying out audits, updating records and following procedures.
A confidant communicator, demonstrating professionalism in phone etiquette and written correspondence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good time management skills and able to work to deadlines.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
The business is based in a rural location so the candidate will need to be able to get to Granola HQ each day
