The City of London Corporation manages 11,000 acres of land in and around London, enjoyed by over 16 million visitors annually. We oversee iconic public spaces like Hampstead Heath, Highgate Wood, West Ham Park, and Queen's Park, offering diverse wildlife, sporting facilities, historic sites, and more.
The Role:
As part of Support Services Team at North London Open Spaces, you will be working in collaboration with the Office Manager and the Senior management team to support the wider site-based teams in a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure the smooth running of the division. Duties include customer service, office administration and generally supporting the teams across our north and east London sites.
Ideal Candidate:
You will already have good basic experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Teams), have excellent time management, attention to detail and a willingness to learn and contribute to the efficient delivery of administration and support services to our diverse teams. You should also possess good written and verbal communication skills and have a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
This apprenticeship role is based at Heathfield House and will last for 18 months (including time to complete your End Point Assessment).

To qualify for this apprenticeship, you will need to be:
16 or over by the end of the summer holidays
Living in England
Not in full-time education at the time of applying
If you are a non-UK citizen - you need to have permission from the UK government to live in the UK (not for educational purposes) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the previous three years before the start of the apprenticeship.
Selected apprenticeships require evidence of English and Maths GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent.

Prior learning: If you have prior learning e.g., a similar or higher level of qualification like the apprenticeship we will be unable to consider your application as your prior learning will not meet the funding rule criteria.
