About the role:



As an Office Admin Apprentice, you'll assist the Office Manager with the smooth running of the office and provide administrative support where needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-organised, confident person, with great attention to detail to gain key admin experience.

This includes working alongside the Office Manager to plan staff events 2 or 3 times a year such as the London Book Fair and Christmas celebrations whilst assisting other departments with event planning as needed.

Main Responsibilities:



Apprenticeship Lvl 3 major project (department of focus varies from apprentice to apprentice) Archiving of office copies of new books Sending manual lifting and desk assessments to new staff and updating (chasing) current staff training Checking of appraisals of upcoming titles for Finance Post room stock returns to the warehouse Maintaining post room and library stock Complex Marketing mailouts Help maintain stock levels of lunch supplies and first aid kits Packing and sending post Receiving and distributing post Packing and shipping the export sales kit via DHL Overseas post via franking app Ordering post room stock from HHC Event and launch help Phones & door & guests Responsible for Health & Safety Online training and equipment

Entry Requirements:



You'll need to attend an online interview with our Talent Team and pass initial assessments in maths and English once you have completed your registration. You will need to be within a commutable distance to the office location listed.

Able to prioritise Must have an interest in books and reading Have an aptitude for technology in a publishing context Good at dealing with people respectfully and assertively Very good written and verbal skills Present themselves professionally Proactive attitude, willing to go that extra mile in order to help or make things happen
