Please note this will be a 15month Fixed Term Contract for the duration of your apprenticeship - with the opportunity to join as a permanent member of our team.



SBR has a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career and gain qualifications as a Business Administration Apprentice. This hands-on, collaborative role offers the chance to work closely with a dedicated team, tackling various administrative tasks.

You'll gain valuable experience as an apprentice while working towards an administrative qualification tailored to your existing skills and experience; this additional training will equip you with specialised knowledge and expertise to streamline processes, enhance your organisational abilities, and develop a keen eye for detail.

What You'll Do



As our Business Administration Apprentice, you'll play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of SBR's customer service and order fulfilment processes. Here's a closer look at what you'll be responsible for:

Order Management -

Collaborate with internal teams to progress and chase customer and supplier orders; process customer orders by inputting data into the SAP system. Process work orders, which translate customer orders into production instructions.

Deliveries -

Process customer products to ensure timely delivery and prepare all necessary delivery paperwork, which could include delivery notes and invoices.

Customer Communication -

Provide regular updates to customers on the progress of their orders; this might include phone calls, emails or maintaining the online order tracking system.

Supplier Communication -

Communicate with suppliers to receive updates on open orders.

Data Management -

Maintain accurate and up-to-date data.

Team working skills -

You'll thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively with colleagues across different departments (Sales, Production, and Purchasing) to achieve common goals.

Strong interpersonal skills -

Excellent communication is vital! You'll be able to clearly and confidently interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams verbally and in writing.

The successful applicant will have a GCSE in English and Mathematics.


Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: 16,065.40-18,085.60 per year
