We are seeking an Apprentice to join our team and embark on a journey to develop essential skills in a hands-on learning environment. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience and growth within the company whilst studying one day per week at Newcastle college for a diploma level 3 in Business Administration.

As part of our commitment to looking after our staff, we close at 1pm every Friday. Although we finish early on a Friday, we still pay staff the equivalent of 37.5 hours work per week.
Duties
- Assist the Business Admin Assistants & Commercial Director in all projects & deliverables.
- Conducting desktop research to ensure the team has relevant, up to date knowledge for potential new leads
- Answering office phone calls
- Scheduling client and consultants' diaries
- Taking meeting notes and converting into an easily readable format
- Arranging travel and accommodation
- Administrative work including filing, producing reports, desk research for parts
- Maintaining the company website (will be trained to support)
- Support with maintaining CRM systems and other company systems
- Support with the general maintenance of the office including; helping to keep production area & kitchen tidy, monitoring stationary levels, creating display boards, office schedules etc.
Progression

Skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced enviroment

- Good command of English Language including good vocabulary & spelling
- Computer literate especially Email, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Word, Internet, CRM is desirable but not essential
- A good working knowledge of using social media for business (eg Bluesky, LinkedIn)
