Opportunity:



We are currently seeking two Business Administrators (Apprenticeship). They will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support across key business areas, including Head Office, Plant & Buying functions.

Key Responsibilities include:



Support to the Administrative Manager in ensuring a welcoming, efficient and organised office environment. Handling business communication tasks including: responding to emails, answering calls and directing all enquiries to the appropriate team and contact. Ensure accurate filing systems are maintained and filing is up-to-date. Providing support to colleagues with the preparation of documents, data entry and reporting. Assisting with the maintenance of facilities. Arranging and coordinating meetings, ensuring minutes are recorded and distributed when required. Supporting the Customer Care team, learning to resolve customer queries and issues via telephone and email. Balance work responsibilities alongside apprenticeship training.

The Successful Applicant will have:



English GCSE Grade 4/c, Level 2 Functional Skills qualification or equivalent Mathematics GSE Grade 4/C, Level 2 Functional Skills qualification or equivalent Strong organisational skills and strong time management Clear communication skills (written & verbal) Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) Willingness to learn and develop new skills Ability to take responsibility to get tasks completed independently Friendly, helpful and approachable - happy to support teams and go the extra mile

What We Offer:



A structured apprenticeship programme in Business Administration, leading to a Level 3 qualification, gaining experience through both on the job training and learning and off the job training. Depending on the training provider, this could include college day release, online workshops and regular assessor visits. Exposure to learn across multiple business areas within a construction organisation. Opportunities to grow you career with us once you successfully complete the apprenticeship.

Package:



Contract Type: Apprenticeship Weekly Hours: 07:30am to 16:30pm (we are open to discussing reasonable adjustments*)
